    Cellist Sol Gabetta performs Shostakovich’s poignant second cello concerto with the Orchestre de Paris under the baton of Klaus Mäkelä. The concert continues with two pieces influenced by jazz – Shostakovich’s second Suite for Jazz Orchestra, and Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast, starring the phenomenal Sir Willard White and featuring the Cambridge University Symphony Chorus joining forces with the Choeur de l’Orchestre de Paris.
